Foghat

Foghat celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2021, and their live performances show why the band is still around and why they will be able to keep on rockin’ as long as they want to play! Their music is timeless, and touring is part of their DNA. Foghat’s live show is as intense as ever with the incredible energy and musicianship that one would expect and hope for from a seasoned band with such a long musical history and they are bringing their fans along for the ride. These guys just love to play! Foghat fans are everywhere and their audience consists of all ages.  From the young who play Guitar Hero III and know all the lyrics to ‘Slow Ride’, to the Dazed & Confused generation of 30-40 somethings and the ‘boomers’ who bought Foghat’s first vinyl or 8 track!  Looking out at the audience and seeing all generations rockin’ to Foghat is very gratifying to the band. “The band just wants to make sure that after every show, they are all convinced that they just got rocked, from the second we start the first song to the end of the show”. Formed in 1971 when Lonesome Dave Peverett & Roger Earl left the British blues-rock band, Savoy Brown, Foghat has earned eight Gold records, one Platinum record and one Double-Platinum record.  And they continue to release new music every few years. They have never stopped touring and recording although there have been several ups and downs and changes over the years.  They sadly lost Lonesome Dave Peverett in 2000 and Rod Price in 2005, but Roger Earl kept banging & kicking to keep Foghat’s musical legacy going. According to a recent review “The ’70s called…but there is no way in hell we are giving Foghat back to them. The iconic band from the past is rocking just as hard as they did decades ago, if not more! Foghat’s thunderous blend of blues, boogie and butt-kickin’ rock ‘n’ roll are shaking walls and fans everywhere. There is so much talent in this band it is ridiculous.  Lead vocalist/lead guitarist Scott Holt played with Buddy Guy for over 10 years, and lead/slide guitarist Bryan Bassett played with Wild Cherry and Molly Hatchet.”  Bass player Craig Macgregor who had been with the band since the ’70s, unfortunately became ill in 2015 and was unable to play, and we sadly lost him in February of 2018.  Craig had recommended the very talented & personable Rodney O’Quinn as a ‘fill-in’ who came to Foghat via the Pat Travers band where he proved he knew how to lay down a solid groove. O’Quinn viewed MacGregor as a mentor and is a great permanent addition to the band.  And on drums, of course, is the man we must thank for keeping Foghat going…founding member Roger Earl, who’s positive attitude and solid drumming style and pure joy of playing has been an inspiration to all.” If Foghat had only given us ‘Slow Ride’, the band’s place in rock history would be secure.  But the band is so much more than that. As stated by Roger Earl, “we are still a ‘work in progress’, writing and recording and plan to be until the day we depart this earth”. The band has started work on yet another Blues/Rock Studio Album to be released in late 2022)! So, stay tuned, you cannot keep these boys down! Jackyl

It’s been  25 years since Jackyl shot out of Georgia with its wild, untamed and uncouth approach to rock ‘n’ roll. Equal parts hard rock, heavy metal and Southern rock, Jackyl formed in 1991 and brought back rock ‘n’ roll back — back to its down-to-earth, wild, fun-loving origins. Full of spit and swagger — and a “dirty” sense of humor to boot — Jackyl quickly earned a deal with Geffen Records. Jackyl’s live shows were already legendary before the ink dried on the Geffen contract. The 1992 self-titled debut album went platinum and featured notable rock radio hits like “Down On Me,” “When Will It Rain,” “I Stand Alone” and, most notably, “The Lumberjack,” during which vocalist Jesse James Dupree performed a chain-saw solo. Dupree’s chain-saw escapades on album and in concert became one of many Jackyl trademarks. With the release of ‘Jackyl’ hit the road and barely left it since. Just long enough to record new albums. Touring mates in those early days included Aerosmith, Kiss, ZZ Top, Ted Nugent and Damn Yankees. 1993 saw “Mental *@%.!” featured on ‘The Beavis & Butt-head Experience,’ a compilation album of songs tied in with MTV’s hit cartoon series; it was eventually certified triple platinum. 1994 was one of the most important years in the band’s career. The second album, ‘Push Comes To Shove,’ hit the streets and went gold. That August, Jackyl turned in one of the most acclaimed performances at Woodstock ’94 in Saugerties, NY, and the resulting double album ‘Woodstock 94’ went platinum and included “Headed For Destruction” (a track from ‘Push Comes To Shove’). The live recording ‘Night Of The Living Dead’ was released exclusively in Europe on Mayhem Records in 1996. The band earned two Guinness Book of World Records citations and the designation “The Hardest Working Band in Rock ‘N’ Roll” for performing 100 shows in 50 days as well as 21 shows in 24 hours. Dupree says the most grueling of the two was 21 shows in 24 hours; Jackyl completed that task in Texas, and the shows were all done with full lights and sound. The daytime sets were 45 minutes long whereas the ones done at nighttime were between 90 and 120 minutes long. Jackyl released ‘Relentless’ on Humidity Records in 2002. It contained the second collaboration with Brian Johnson, “Kill the Sunshine.” For a band that built its reputation as road warriors, it’s surprising that a full-length live album meant for worldwide release did not appear until 2004 with the separate release of the ‘Live at the Full Throttle Saloon’ CD and DVD on Sanctuary Records. ‘Live at the Full Throttle Saloon’ was recorded and filmed in summer 2003 in Sturgis, South Dakota, as part of the legendary annual biker rally festivities held there. In 2010, the band completed their release titled “My Moonshine Kicks Your Cocaine’s Ass”. Staying true to their working band roots, ever since 2008 Jackyl has been on the road playing the summer festival circuit as well as many other choice, off-season venues.**VIP Experience Includes**-Private Bar and Bartender-Catered appetizers-2 Complimentary drinks-Live entertainment before the show

Thompson Square

With romantically charged #1 hits like “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not” and “If I Didn’t Have You,” multi-platinum international success, and honors as Vocal Duo of the Year from both the ACM and CMA Awards, Country duo Thompson Square admit they don’t have much left on their bucket list. So for the husband-and-wife team of Keifer and Shawna Thompson, the next chapter of their career is about something different. “This album is called Masterpiece, and the definition of a masterpiece is an artist’s life’s work,” Keifer explains, hinting at the creative satisfaction behind the duo’s third studio album. “When we’re 80 years old and we look back, we want to be able to say we’re really proud of all the stuff we did.” Working independently for the first time, Masterpiece arrives at a tipping-point moment for the duo – and it finds them taking skillful control of their acclaimed musical bond. But it’s the project’s title track that gives the album its foundation, and shows where the couple stands today. Inspired by the Thompsons’ idyllic family life, Keifer wrote the track solo and admits it’s his favorite song on the record, so he and Shawna recorded it with all the back-porch authenticity of its creation. “I woke up one day with that title in my head, and I was thinking about my life with Shawna and now Cooper,” he explains. “It was like ‘Man, if I died today, that’s my masterpiece – my love for my wife and this wonderful little boy.’” As new parents and a newly independent duo, Thompson Square have undoubtedly stepped into the next chapter of their Country-music fairytale … one which Masterpiece documents in unedited clarity. They’ve scored the hits and won the awards – and they’d be happy to do it all again – but for the first time in their career, there’s nothing holding their creativity back. Luckily, they’ve never been more ready to share it with fans. “It’s really one of the most liberating experiences we’ve had in our career,” Keifer admits. “It’s an exciting time, because if we can really do this record justice, we’re gonna have that one-on-one relationship with the fans – and that’s what it really should be all about in the first place.” **VIP Experience Includes**-Private Bar and Bartender-Catered appetizers-2 Complimentary drinks-Live entertainment before the show

Wayland

When Phillip Vilenski wrote down the name “Wayland” on a piece of paper and handed it to his best friend Mitchel Arnold at a Kings of Leon concert in Los Angeles, he thought he was just naming the band after his hometown of Wayland, Michigan. He had no idea he was creating a dogma for Wayland and it’s Warriors alike. Wayland, Michigan represented community. A community where everyone knew your name and no one was a stranger. A place where everyone wanted to help, doors were not locked and dinner was always on the stove. They built their band around these principles, leaving no city until every hand was shaken and every fan was a friend. Thanksgiving wasn’t a holiday but a way of living and grace wasn’t something you said before dinner but something you offered every obstacle you encountered. After touring for 300 days per year for seven years, four charting active rock singles, and a KISS and Bon Jovi cruise, festivals, and over sixty thousand handshakes, they finally went home. Not to Wayland, not to Michigan, and not to Los Angeles, but home to themselves. WAYLAND started when Phillip and Mitch were touring with the performance group the Young Americans, teaching children all over the world music. From the beginning they knew music was medicine, and this time they needed a taste of their own. They spent their days in the studio with Keith Nelson (Buckcherry) recording their upcoming EP, and their nights in the children’ hospitals of Los Angeles and women’s shelters for human trafficking victims, remembering that their life is one of service, and their legacy is one of love.Opener: Jamie Fontaine & the Level **VIP Experience for this show includes**- Meet and Greet & Photo op with the band- A seat within the first 5 rows of the venue- Catered Appetizers- 2 Free Drinks- Live acoustic performance in VIP lounge before the show
